Show by a railroad official In Ogden. with five times the amount of capital Invested In-vested in Ofcden that they have Inverted In-verted In Salt Lake City, the Suit Lake stories appear ridiculous. This was the remark made this morning by a well known railroad official offi-cial to a representative of this paper, in answer to the question as to the statement that appeared in a Salt Lake paper recently to the effect that the offices in Ogden would be moved to Salt Lake. Regardless of the announcement that was made In this paper last November, No-vember, after a representative bad-had bad-had an interview with Julius Krutt-schnltt. Krutt-schnltt. who stated that the great amount of improvements outlined by tho Harriman lines would be roado in Ogden as soon as the spring weather opened, the Salt Lake papers have coutinued their attack upon Ogden's railroad Interests. Notwithstanding the stories th&t have originated in Salt Like City about a million and n half dollars will be expended In Ogden this year by the Harriman interests in tho building of a freight depot, car shops, subway and umbrella sheds at the Union depot de-pot In addition to the numerous improvements im-provements which were started last fall and which were postponed on account ac-count of bad weather.
