Show HAY NES IS IN POLICE COURT John W. Hanes, alias F. H. Men dcnhall, was arraigned in the mnnl ciiial court, this morning on the charge of obtaining money under false pretences, pre-tences, and was bound over for a preliminary pre-liminary hearing in the sum of $2,000. The complaint against Havnes alleges al-leges that on December 3rd, 19'i9, ho induced Dr. J. S. Joyc' to cash a check which he had drawn on the National Bank of S'nupulpa, Oklahoma, Okla-homa, for ?100, and which proved to be worthless. The officers have been looking for Ifpynes since last December, and succeeded suc-ceeded Ir locating him tn Arizona, from whence Chief of Palieo T homes Drowning recently returned with hl'.v. |
