FIVE ARE JAILED FOR ORUNKENESS With the exception of tho arrest of Ave men on charges of drunkennesa and ono on a charge of meudlcancy the criminal element in tho city es-terdny es-terdny failed to produce anything startling, probably lulled to obeyanco of the laws by the triple persuasion of tho near approach of Easter, the beautiful weather and the Iron hand of the law on the watch for the peaco of the city . All of the men arrested were locked up In tho city Jail and were given a hearing this morning. Although, a. strict watch on" every machine on- the' streets-of-the -.city was kept Saturday night the police failed to locate and capture the large cor which has been speeding around the streets of the city during tho afternoon af-ternoon aud of which complaints rf ached the police from a number of sources. Efforts to collect evidence against the party In' the car, which Is known to have been from Salt Lake City havo been made and should the complaints warrant action being taken the police 'will have tho owner of the car arretted In Salt Lake City, as the number Is known but Is withheld with-held pending an Investigation.
