Feb. 23 Complete denial de-nial of tin.- report of a goernment letory In Nicaragua Is vlven out here tonight in the shape of dispatches from Cencral Estrada, commanding tho revolutionists and addressed to Senor Salvatore Castrlllo, representative represen-tative of tho provisional government. The dispatches announce an overwhelming over-whelming victory after a battle lasting last-ing three days In which two generals on the government tdde were killed. A significant feature of the cablegram cable-gram which Senor Castrlllo turned over for translation to the Associated Press vas found In the statement that (Jonernl Chanihorro la within striking distance of the cnpltol and in the opinion of Central American diplomats diplo-mats h re. practically holds Its fate In his hands. The cablegram as translated fol lows: "Following thrtn days of fierce fUhtinc, General Mena and Zeledon absolutvly destroyed the army of Ma-drU Ma-drU In Chontales. which was under the command of CJcnerals Yanquez, Oodny. Mata and Gonzales. The two latter were killed. One hundred of the enemy were killed and two hundred hun-dred wounded. Scored a complete victory. vic-tory. VCe know what Chamborro Is in the the Immediate vicinity of Managua." Man-agua." Says No Dissension. This dispatch slcnrd by Estrada was followed by another bearing his sijnature. It declared that the best f.f harmony prevailed between himself and Chamborro and other chiefs of the revolution and thru all reports of friction or that his aides were endeavoring endeav-oring to supersede him was without foundation. A cablegram to Castrlllo Castrll-lo from Senr Cardenas, a leading conservative who vas temporarily living liv-ing in Llmon. Co?ta Rica declared that no friction existed and the best discipline prevails. Senor Luis Corca, former minister to this country from Nicaragua in the regime of President Zelaya announced that he had received a cablegram ' dated leday and signed "Madrlz" which Is a sweeping refutation of the advices received by Castrlllo. The cablegram reads: "Complete . victory over revolutionists revolution-ists at Tlsma. Many prisoners and ammunition, captured. Chamborro totally to-tally destroyed. He intended today l to ford Tlpltapa but was repulsed and j Is being actively pursued." Senor Corca did not submit his dispatch for translation. Another Victory. Managua. Feb. 23 Another victory over the revolutionists has been announced an-nounced by General Toledo, Nlcara-1 giian minister of war. The announcement was. based on an official dispatch received from General Rlvaz, In command of tho government forces who engaged the revolutionists under General Chamor-ro Chamor-ro at Tlsma. which is twelve, miles I from Masaya. General Toledo also made known the fact that the losses on both sides I had been heavy and that the battle had lasted seven hours, resulting la the bloodiest fighting of the war.
