It seems that tho Rapid Transit company recently decided de-cided to reduce the wages of the Greek workers fn.xn $180 to ?1.60 per day. and that their Greek foreman. William Maratos, had made arrangements arrange-ments with another crew of Greek laborers la-borers to take the Jobs in case the ones already employed "kicked over the traces" because of the reduction.
