Show KNIGHTS HAD EVENING OF PLEASURE INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS FOR THE NEW YEAR. Uniform Rank, Under Captain A. W. Johnson, Gave Clever Exhibitions Exhibi-tions In Military Drills. All the officers and members of the Uniform Rank, an auxiliary and mll-I mll-I Itary organization of tho Knights of Pythias, made their first appearance in their new uniforms. These members mem-bers have been drilling some time under the direction of Captain A. W. Johnson, and they acquitted themselves them-selves creditably In several clever exhibitions In military drills. Joseph Chez, deputy grand chancellor, chancel-lor, installed the following officers George H. Davis, chancellor commander. com-mander. Amos Hudson, vice-chancellor. Frank E. Grant, prelate. Earl R. Gelger, master of work. L. N. Meld, keeper of records and 6eal. H. L. Taylor, master of exchequer. W. W. Croesman, master of finance. O. E. Wllllama, master-at-arms. Dean Brown, inner guard. V. L. Underwood, outer guard. After the lnsta.lla.tion of officers the sir knights escorted the ladles to the dining hall, where a sumptuous banquet ban-quet waa served. tcr. and the following responded, speaking on the social and fraternal features of the order: Joseph Chez, Mrs. I. N. Fulton, H. C. Wardlelgh, Miss Lula Rltter, A. Wr. Johnson, Mrs. W. A: McGaw, Charlos S. Brothers and W. L. Underwood. Tho installation of officers for the new year in Ogden Lodgo No. 2 Knights of Pythias waa held Monday evening in the K. P. hall. Members of the local order of Pythian Pyth-ian Sisters, who recently entertained the Knights on a similar occasion, were present as special guests to witness wit-ness the ceremonies which occurred after the regular Bosslon of the lodge had closed. |
