Show OFFICER'S NARROW ESCAPE Struggles With Mad Man In the Top of the Electric Tower Chicago, Jan. 5. A hand-to-hand struggle with a mad man In the top of the electric tower came near being be-ing the last official act of Patrolman Farrell yesterday. The lunatic wa.-i:. wa.-i:. H. Yuchen who later was taken In charge by bin parents. Yochen entered the grounds of the summer park contrary to placards displayed, lie was seen by a special policeman and ordered out, but refused re-fused to go. The special policeman rtarted for Yochen. who in turn ran for a place of refuge. He spied the tower, some hundred feet hih and mounted it. Patrolman Farrell was strolling by. "Well." said he. "I ll go up and get him." And up he went. The crowd that had gathered be- 1 low caught only an occasional glimpse ot th struggling pair as they flashed pabt the tiny poles in the top of tho t-iender structure.
