The American ecout cruiser Yankton left here this morning for Messina with medical supplies and provisions on board tor the earthquake sufferers. Port Said. Jan. 5. The Itinerary of the American battleship fleet uu- j dcr Rear Admiral Sperry has been changed In consequence of the Italian earthquake. The new program is. as j follows: The battleships Connecticut, as the flagship of the fleet, the Vermont md Minnesota, will leave here at tnid-night tnid-night tonight direct for Naples. Steaming Steam-ing at the rate of fourteen knots, the Connecticut will arrive next Satur-! Satur-! day. The other two vessels will tol low, making the best speed they can.
