Hearing an unfounded un-founded rumor that they were all to be discharged, the trainmen, to tho number of about thirty-live, quit their jobs late Saturday night, November 21. After several days of conference confer-ence between the committee ot men and Mr. Lakenan, the men concluded they had acted hastily and agreed to return-to work, which thoy did Sunday Sun-day night, November 29, and they have been at work continuously ever since. |
