George Washington Washing-ton Hough, professor of astronomy at Northwestern university and director of the Dearborn observatory, died suddenly sud-denly at his home In Evanaton yesterday. yes-terday. Professor Hough who was 72 years old, was a leading astronomer, his principal contributions to science being his observations regarding the planet Jupiter. He measured more-double more-double stars than any astronomer now living, about 550 in all. |
