Preston, Idaho, Is but a vlllage,-con-talning not more than 1,500 people, yet it is forging ahead In metropolitan ptyle. The town board has been authorized au-thorized by the Inhabitants to Install ti waterworks Bystem which will be adequate to the furnlehlng or a complete com-plete sewer system, and to this end the efforts of the board Is being exer-iprl exer-iprl Water for the purposes doslg- rated Is quite ample and within the reach of the town and, judging from the attitude of the leading members of the board, it will bo utilized In the rear future. ' Members of the board, S. H. Hale, president; W. Chatterton, Joseph Bel-nap Bel-nap and S. C Swan, engineer, were visitors In Ogden yesterday and will remain In the city today for the purpose pur-pose of examining the sewerage system sys-tem here so aa to get tho best possible advice regarding the installation in-stallation of a waterworks and sewerage sew-erage system. |
