Show EARNS CONTRIBUTION BY SHAVING HER HUSBAND Chicago, May 26. Shaving her husband hus-band with increasing skill on alternate alter-nate days for one month, netted Mrs. W. O. Smith, a dollar contribution for tho missionary cause and a gold pin. The prize was a gift from the woman's wom-an's homo missionary society or the Austin Methodist Enlscooal - church for earning money In the most novel manner. There were other contributions contribu-tions uniquely earned, but an unanimous unan-imous vote of the society has awarded award-ed Mrs. Smith first prize. Mrs. E. II. Snodgrass worked so hard about the house that her husband gave her $1 to "lay off" one' day. She di.l so, and that money was added to Mrs. Smith's missionary contribution. |
