Show ARE GETTING BUSY WITH WANLASS GROUP. Salt Lake City, June 17. Preparations Prepara-tions are being made by John Roundy and associates for on extensive campaign cam-paign of development for the Wanlass group of claims In North TIntlc. Ma-, chlnery is to be installed shortly and the property I3 to be equipped In a first j class manner. It is asserted by tho officials of the company that evey effort ef-fort will be made to get down to depth on the property this summer, and according ac-cording -to surface Indications some good ore bodies should bo encountered encoun-tered at a depth of COO or 300 feet. The Wanlass Mining company was recently incorporated with .John Roundy, superintendent of. the Knight interests in TIntlc, as president and general manager; Perry B. Fuller, who Is an assistant to Mr. Roundy, Is vice president, and W. E. Evans, a.i-other a.i-other man in the employ of the Knights, is secretary and treasurer. The officers, with E. F. Hureh, Nate Rockhill and OHer Cederstrom, form the directorate. Tho property consists of twenty-two full claims and Is seven slaims in length. According to Mr. Roudy, the property is in a dolomite lime similar to that in the Colorado and Iron Blossom. Blos-som. Besides this he asserts that a lime and quartz contact anil a lime and porphyry contast run the entire length of the property. A vein of quartz which traverses the entire length of the property Is about ten feet wide, it Is asserted. Assays from this have Bhown from six to ten ounces of silver to the ton. At frequent fre-quent intervals there are a number of manganese blow-outs. I It was under the direction of John j Roundy that the Humbug. Uncle Sam. ! Colorado. Beck Tunnel and Iron Blos-; Blos-; sum mines were developed. Before becoming be-coming interested in the property Mr. Roundy made a thorough investigation investiga-tion and declares that he is convinced there is ore to be found there. Burch I and Fuller, who are also old hands In the district, declare they arc of tho same opinion. The property is four and a half miles north of Homansville and just east and north of the old Gold Blossom 1 that produced good lead and silver ore ! I in the early days. For years this property has laid idle, but" it is now 1 being worked. The company is capitalized at $10V 000, with shares at 10 cents each. Of this number 400,000 shares were set I aside as treasury stock'. |
