Brown signed a bond of J6000 for Matt Smith, alleged confidence man, who later disappeared. disap-peared. Investigation lat-r showed that Brown had falsely testified as to his holdings in Salt Lake and was unable to pay the bond. Brown was ordered to appear before be-fore Judge George S.
