MeAdoo, former secretary of the treasury, was unable to do- liver his scheduled addresses here to day because of illness. Mr. McAdoo'sj address at Syracuse, Kan , this after-noon after-noon was cancelled upon the advice pf his physician, who ordered complete com-plete rest. The former secretary of the treasury became suddenly ill Tuesday night after leaving Wichita. Mr MeAdoo will not make another address In the interest of the Democratic Demo-cratic campaign until he reachej J'alt Lake and then only with the consent or his physician, ho said today. Mr. MeAdoo seemed somewhau improved im-proved when his train reached here, ami he continued his Journey to Salt Lake, via Denver.
