In payment of Income and profits taxes pavablo September 16, and December 15 1922. Victory notes of the 8 i per cent series se-ries will not be acceptable In pament of Income and profits taxe? payable September Sep-tember 15 or E'cocmber 15, 1922. and registered reg-istered Victors notes will net be accepted accept-ed on any payment. NEW YORK SUGAR. NEW YORK. April 20 The early raw sugar market was unsettled. Spot Cubes Cu-bes were offered at 24c cost and freight, equal to 3.86c fo rccntrlfugal, while for later shipments 2c cost and freight was asked, equal to 3.98c. There were no sales of Cubas, although 7000 bag of Porto Rlcos were sold to a local refiner with outport options at S8c for late April shipment. In raw sugar futures prices were easier under commission house selling, with prices at midday 3 to 4 points net lower Sn further changes occurred In refined with fine granulated listed at 5 26 to 5 40c. with tho demand still llht. Refined futures were, nominal. Sugar futures closed steady; approxl-sales approxl-sales 33,900 tons; May 2 44c, .Tub .' STi ; September 2.86c; December 2.91c. |
