The special auditor's audit-or's report lists some 34 Invoices, ranging In amounts from 8.1 cents to $69. S3, and of an aggregate total of around $700. Other Invoices arc under un-der investigation, and these, with still others looked for as more records of the hardware company and others be-; be-; come available are expected t' bring the total to more than $1000. Mr. I 1'arker says he has receipts for some of tho articles of which the special auditors aro questioning the Invoices, and It Is expected to be a matter of some time before a definite determination determi-nation of the exact amount due from each former state employe participating participat-ing Is reached. The special audit presents for the first time a complete accounting by counties and by roads on the expenditures ex-penditures of more than $11,500,000 of public funds on the state road system In the period beginning December De-cember 1, 1916. the start of tho fiscal fis-cal year during which the Democratic I administration assumed the reins of I office In the state, and ending July 131 of last year, when the present state road commission had born In office about two months an 1 ono-, ono-, half.
