Show oo PROMISES TO QUIT OGDEN; RELEASED William Chappel of Sunset pleaded guilty in the city court this morning, to B charge of being drunk and Jurici D. R. Roberts sentenced him to serve 90 days In Jail but suspended the sentence sen-tence on the promise of phappel that he would get out of Ogden and ia out. Chappel told the court that the stuff he drank was so powerful that all that was necessary for him and his three companions to do was to look .n U and it knocked them out. On the plea that he had put up a new blacksmith shop at Sunset :md that he had considerable work to do I there lie was allowed to depart. J P Franklin, charged with having liquor in his possession failed to appear ap-pear for trial and his ball of 1260 1 was declared forfeited. |
