Mr. Ooddard was a private in 148th field artillery. 41st division. He enlisted en-listed at Salt Lake. October 17. 1917. He saw active service from July, 1918, to the armistice. He was shell-' shocked during the battle of the Ar-gonne Ar-gonne He is survived by the widow. Gertrude Ger-trude Earl Goddard of Salt Lake, his parents. II. H. Goddard and Martha W.
