Experiments are shortly to be carried out at the aerodrome here with the object of eablblishlng the stability or otherwise of steel tow-eera tow-eera as moorings for big airhips. Ii the experiments are successful it will have a marked . fleet on thc posi tion of this class of aircraft as com merc carriers, for It will mean iha; thc steel tower is likely to be the usual form of station headquarters lor the 'airship of the future.
