| Show J horse caught we learn that last sunday mr U S dalton of had eight head of horses indications pointed to the fact that the animals bad been taken north and the owner bent bis eon in pursuit the young man learned on his way thai a man named frank daly who was recently brought up here for bide stealing and a stranger had based along having in their stolen animals the young man immediately came to ogden gave informal ao tion to sheriff brown and bent word to the constables of the different precincts west of ogden mr J C thompson also got on the track of the thieves and caught eight of them at greena cheep herd near icooper II he got into conversation with them about dark Q R belknap coneta ble of hooper precinct rode up and linking a match recognized daly he recognizing mr B and mr T at the same moment who arrested both the thieves and brought them to ogden last evening for safe keeping this morning in company with young dalton belknap and thompson took the horse thieves to davis county W S lewis esq prosecuting attorney for davis county will leave for that county this afternoon to appear against the culprits the name of dalya compaan ion is said to he duncan lawrence |
