Show UJ UTAH SOLDIERS ARE GOING THROUGH TO THEIR HOMES Another contingent of discharged soldiers going to points in Utah. Ne- i vada and Idaho, passed through Ogden Og-den this morning en route from Fort D. A. Russell, Wyo.. to their home. The boys were for the most part from the 347th field artillery and the I 363rd infantry units of the Ninety-first division, the main body of which paraded pa-raded through the streets of Ogden last Saturday and Sunday They ar-l ar-l rived on Union Pacific train No. 19 jat 10 o'clock. Most of the boys gave their address as that of Salt Lake and I left Ogden soon after their arrival. Following were some of tho Ogden boys Axel Hansen. Robert Wall. Charles Dean, John Benedetti and J. Kiehm. The boys reported that they we're released from the service in record-breaking record-breaking time. Most of them entered Fort Russell early Saturday morning, and were away at noon yesterday. Considering that no work was done on Sunday in the camp, this is exceptionally exception-ally speedy work. Some of the boys state that units of the 361st and 362nd infantry arrived at the fort as they were leaving yesterday and will all be discharged this week. These units arc made up of nearly all Utah men. Following the arrival of the boys, a special train carrying wounded to, the Pacific coast came in. Some of the men were in a very serious con- dltion. some of them confined to bed.; There were 71 men and officers. They were entertained at the canteen, at least all of those who were able to w;(lk Coffee, fruit and doughnuts were carried to the train for those who were unable to get out. |
