Show Julius Vedrines Is Killed in a Landing Accident PARIS. April 22 The death of Julius Jul-ius Vedrines, the French aviator, which was announced here yesterday was due, according to a Lyons' dispatch dis-patch to the Petit Parisien, to a landing land-ing accident. He was flying low, one of his engines missing fire. He swung his airplane in the direction of the wind, but failed to get the engine working properly and so decided to land He headed the machine toward an alfalfa field but fell short, the left wing collapsing. Vedrines and Guillaln, his mechanic, were both killed instantly. on |
