E A number of resolutions, bearing on ffiL. the league. wor pn seated to th ooi i mlttee on restorations one of which specifically spe-cifically urged ratification by the senate sen-ate of the league of nations covenant in its amended form. Later, on motion of Mrs. William G . .Spencer, of Tennessee, the congress by a rising vote expressed sympathy and loyalty to President Wilson for "his-reat "his-reat effort to brine peace to the world.'' Resolutions of sympathy on the death of Colonel Theodore Roosevelt were adopted. A universal system of phsical education and the prompt re i porting of disloyal acts also were ap-pro ap-pro ed. |
