Show oo I Amalgamated Gives Up Flaoi: at Erigham URIGITAM CITY, Feb. Representing Repre-senting the Utah-Idaho Sugar com-, com-, pany, H. D. Woofenden assumed chaige of the Brigham City factory yesterday and immediately will procure pro-cure a force of men to operate the plant for the new concern. In retiring from this field the Amalgamated Amal-gamated Sugar company also sold to the Utah-Idaho Sugar company the Hammond canal, which intakes from the Bear river at Collinston an supplies sup-plies irrigation for the east side or Box Elder county. The purchasing company intends to extend this waterway water-way soon to bring a larger area into cultivation of sugar beets. The uncompleted sugar factory at Whitchalls, Mont., also recently purchased, pur-chased, will be moved to Honeyville, where the plant will be re-erected for I operation soon. It is anticipated. |
