Show "THE FORTUNE HUNTER" TO BE PRESENTED MARCH 16 AND 17 "The Fortune Hunter" the annual play of the Weber Normal college, I which was postponed on account of , the influenza epidemic, will be given March 16th and 17th in the Orpheum Mheatre. The director and members of the cast who were ill have fully recovered re-covered and are taking up the work of rehearsing with renewed enthusiasm, i "The Fortune Hunter," written by iWlnchell Smith, coauthor of "Turn to the Right," is a romantic comedy in four acts. It tells in an exceptionally unique and entertaining manner the 'adventures of a poor young man who jset sout to win a country heiress, j The cast is strong throughout, Stan-I Stan-I ley Rhees as Nathanial Duncan, the I fortune hunter, heading tho company; John Croft, in a sympathetic character role, is a close second; Cora Marten-son Marten-son has tho leading feminie part. Mrs. Blanche Kendall McKey, head .of the Oral Expression department at Weber, is directing the play. The proceeds pro-ceeds will be donated to the new-gymnasium fund, the students evincing a nanclal record of "The Big Idea" company. |
