The proposed north-and-south highway high-way Is nn ambitious project It is proposed pro-posed to build an automobile roan from llanff, Lake Louise and th Rocky mountain parks of Canada to Salt Lake City nnd probably thence to Zio.i national park and the north edge of Mie Grand Canyon. A3 proposed, the. highway would hae on its itinerary Grand Canyon, Zlon Canyon, Great Salt Lake, Yellowstone Yel-lowstone park, the Lewis and Clar.t national monument, the Gate of the .Mountains. Missouri River canyon, tho Great Falls of the Missouri, Glacier park, Banff, Lake Louise and other nationally known scenic wonders It would lap the National Old Trails roa: of southern California, the Lincoln hichway, the Pike's Peak Oce.in-to-Ocean highway, the Rainbow route, the Midland trail across the continent,' th; Yellowstone trail, the Geysers-to Glaciers trail, the Yellowstone-Glacier Bee Line, the Wonderland trail, Custer Cus-ter Battlefield highway, Roosevelt Memorial Me-morial highway.
