Clemen-j ceau received me most courteously," jsald Zagloul Pasha, In an interview published in the Temps, "and assured me he was going to Egypt as a friend of that country. If circumstances compelled the peace conference to insert in-sert in the treaty of Versaills a clause recognizing tho British protectorate over Egypt, M.
