Show Deaths and Funerals CAR N AH AN Lola Carnahan was , burled in Kaysville cemetery yesterday 'afternoon following services held at 2 'o'clock in the West Weber meeting house, Bishop Fred W. Walker offl? dating. The Weber Normal college glee club gave two selections and the little girls of Miss Carnahan's Sunday school class sang "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam." The speakers were 'President Frank W. Stratford, John jMessick and Bishop Walker. The grave in Kavsvillo cemetery was dedicated by E. A. Larkin. CUNNINGHAM Funeral services or Louis C. Cunningham will be held at 2 o'clock Friday in the Lynne ward, Bishop Lawrence Sherner conducting. Friends will be received at the home this afternoon and evening. and tomorrow tomor-row until time of services. Interment cltj ceinetery. RICHARDSON Impressive funeral services were held yesterday at 2 o'clock In the First Presbyterian church for Mrs. Emma Richardson, Rev. John Edward Carver and Rev. Godfrey Matthews officiating. E. L. Kowes sang, "Abide With Me," and MJbs Rosalie Holberg sang, "Oh, Rest in the Lord." The following were pallbearers, pall-bearers, Angus Kennedy, II. A. Beau-verd, Beau-verd, II. Bailey, O. A. Parmlcy, John Thomas and R. H. Baumunk. Interment Inter-ment Mountain View cemetery. HOBSON Funeral services for Joseph Jo-seph E. Hobson were held at 1 o'clocvK yesterday In the Warren meeting house, Bishop William T. Wayment presiding. The singers were Mrs. Jessie Jes-sie Wayment and Mrs. Hazel Marriott who sang four numbers. 'Bishop Wayment, Way-ment, William T. Salt, John F. Barton, Bar-ton, Joseph Skeen, Samuel Knight, James L. Robson and Heber Hawkes. Lysle W. Larkin dedicated the grave in Ihe Warren cemetery. MO YES The body of William Moyes was laid to rest in the Ogden city cemetery yesterday afternoon following fol-lowing services held in the Second iv ard meeting house, Bishop George E. Browning presiding. Tho speakers were George Shorten, John G. Ellis, Pres. 'James Wotherspoon, Pres. Alva Scoville and Bishop Browning. Miss Josephine Shorten, Dr. W. S. Paine and Robert BInney sang solos. Many friends and relatives of the deceased attended the services and there were many beautiful floral offerings. The opening prayer was offered by Pres. John L. Herrick and the benediction was given by John McQuarrie. Wil-lard Wil-lard Scowcroft dedicated the grave in Ogden city cemetery. YOUNG The body of Adolph Young was shipped to Indianapolis yesterday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock on tho Overland Over-land Limited. Services and burial will take place there, SODERQUIST Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa M. Soderquist were held yesterday at 2 p. m. in the Eighth , ward meeting house, Bishop W. W. IRawson presiding. The singers were Miss Mildred Ware, Miss Anna Jensen Jen-sen and William Wright. The speakers speak-ers were George S. Barker, Pres. S. G Dye and Bishop Rawson. The M. I. A., of which the deceased was a member, attended the services in a body and a letter of condolence drawn up by the association was read by Bishop Rawson. The grave in Ogden city cemetery was dedicated by Georgo S. Barker. BUTLER Funeral services for Elsie El-sie Butler will be held at 2 o'clock Friday Fri-day in the Marriott meeting house, i 'Bishop Ritchie officiating. The casket will be open at the home on West Twelfth street today and Friday until time of services. Floral tributes may be left at the Lindquist chapel until Friday noon. Interment will take place in Ogden city cemetery. EDWARD Funeral services for Charles Edward, 3 years of ago, son of William and Vella McKay Edward, will bo held at 1 o'clock tomorrow In the Ninth ward meeting house with Bishop Ridges officiating. The body may be viewed at the home, 3202 Washington avenue, until the time of funeral. |
