Show BOY SCOUTS TROOP 14 Troop 14 Boy Scouts will meet at the Baptist church this evening when a review and inspection will be conducted con-ducted bv D. C. Hartley, deputy scout commissioner of the central district, Tho review will be hold under the supervision or Scout Master W, J. Collins. Col-lins. Following the review Thomas Jackmau will bo invested with the first claoB rank, being the first member mem-ber of the troop to be thus honored. Troop No. 5 will meet this evening at tho St, Joseph Catholic church, when an examination for all tender foot requirements will be conducted by Scout Master Maglnnis. This troop is reported to bo making remarknble progress and is receiving encouragement encourage-ment from Father Kennedy who is taking tak-ing an interest in the movemont. Joseph P. Backman is to become Bcout master of Troop No. 13, to succeed suc-ceed Lester A. Wade, who has been compelled to resign owing to pressure of business. ' |
