Guests of the club were Mrs. Mark b Hamson and Misses Delia and Clarice Hansen of Providence. Mrs. Alicm M. Johnson, retiring i stake president of the primary, was tendered a' party in her honor Saturday Satur-day afternoon at the high school gym by her associates in the primary. A line program of recitations, speeches, musical numbers, etc . was given, during dur-ing which Mrs Johnson was presented present-ed a gold ring and a beautiful bound volume. After the program, game-were game-were played and refreshments served. Mrs John Horsley and Miss LUlle Horsley went to Provb Sunday to visit j relatives during the week. Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Simonsen are spending the week at the Yellowstone ! park. The following young ladies made up a party which left for Yellowstone ..rk on Sunday Mimes Rilla. Lysle and Hortense Hoist; Laura. Sarah and 7,illa Malhias. Alta Anderson. Fv aline Olsen of this city, and Katheriuo Brette and Sigard Holton of Ogden. Tuesday f'ernoon a number of friends and relatives met at the home of Mrs. Mary Wight to participate in a party given in honor of her 71st birthday. The afternoon was spent In BOClal chat and a delicious dinner was served Those present, besides the honored guest, were: Messrs and Mes dames Lorenzo Pelt, Samuel Jeppson, William Pulsipher. S Campbell, AI bert Cox, Joseph Balrd, Mrs. Bessie B Wight, Mrs. Roxy Hamson, and the following grandchildren of Mrs. Wright: Lapreal Wight. Alta Pett, Wanda and Verda Balrd, David Jepp-I Jepp-I son, Vernon Pett. Devern and Devere Baird. Mrs. Wight received many tok ens of the day. Mr. and Mrs. Percy Knudson enter-tained enter-tained Thursday evening in honor of the first anniversary of their wedding. The rooms were decorated in pink and s, and ' daint traj luncheon was served. Thursday evening, the teachers of the Intermediate class of the Third ward Sunday school entertained their pupils in an outdoor parly at the hone v of Miss Emma Stohl Caraes wer played and refreshments served. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Jacobsen are home from their outing on the shores1 of Bear Lake. Mr. N. A. MacDonald and Miss Florence Flor-ence Lee left for Montpelier by auto, Saturday morning, w here they will get Mrs. MacDonald and children and th n the party will spend ten days camp ing on the shores of Bear Lake. Attorney and Mrs. B. C Call and: children left for Grouse Creek. Salur daj morning on an auto trip that will eventually bring them around to Bear Lake for a few days before they re-turn re-turn home. Misses Clarice and Delia Hansen of Logan are visiting at the home of Mr and Mrs. W. W. Knudson. The ladies aro Mrs Knudson's sisters. Mrs. Alfred Johansen and children! are in this city from Salt Lake, visiting visit-ing ai the home of Mr. and Mrs Eli is P. Forsgren. Mr. Lorenzo Jensen or Salt Lake City was a business visitor to Bngham on Saturday |
