Show New Premier Had Been a Workman in the United States BERLIN, Thursday, Aug. 7. (Bv the Associated Press) Stephen Friedricb, Hungarian premier under Archduke Joseph, according to sketches of him published here, spent eight years in the United States as a workman in machinery plants He became an engineer en-gineer and owner of a machinery factory fac-tory there. Upon his return to "Hungary "Hun-gary he was active in politics for seven or eight years, but did not hold office. Premier Fried rich was a follower of Couut Karolyi and accompanied the latter to the United States in 1914 and was interned with him in France on their return. j- i. . |
