LONDON, Sept. 2S. An official Serbian Ser-bian statement dated September 24 announces that Bulgaria has transmit-ted transmit-ted a proposition for obtaining an armistice and peace. The text of the official announcement announce-ment reads: "In view of the conjuncture of circumstances cir-cumstances which have recently arisen aris-en and after the position had been jointly discussed with all competent authorities, the Bulgarian government, desiring to put an end to the bloodshed, blood-shed, authorized the commander-in-chief of the army to propose to the generalissimo of the armies of the Entente En-tente at Saloniki a cessation of hostilities hos-tilities and the entering into of negotiations ne-gotiations for obtaining an armistice and peace. "Tho members of the Bulgarian delegation del-egation left yesterday evening in or-der or-der to get into touch with the plenipotentiaries pleni-potentiaries of the Entente belligerents." Tho statement was transmitted through the German semi-official ; Wolff bureau, which added to the text tho following note: "Tho report of the departure of the delegation is incorrect." Tho Wolff bureau's note apparently was appended prior to the developments reported yesterday of tho Bulgarian move, which showed that emissaries from the Bulgarian government were in touch with the commander of the Entente armies in the Macedonian war theater. Bulgaria has virtually sued for peace following the utter defeat of her armies arm-ies In Macedonia.
