WASHINGTON, March 25 President Presi-dent Wilson, today cabled Field Marshal Mar-shal Haig congratulating him on the British s.ta.n,d against the German offensive of-fensive and predicting a final allied victory. The pres,ideit's message reads: "May I not express to you my warm admiration for the splendid steadfastness steadfast-ness and valor with which your troops have withstood the German onset and the perfect confidence all Americans feel that you will win a secure and final victor)'." |
