Show E1EIE DESTROYED 1 TIE LUCA LIQUOR CASE The case of the state against Joseph Laucirica, proprietor of a hotel Wall avenue who, was charged with having liquor unlawfully in his possession, pos-session, was set for-hearing in the municipal court next Friday at 10 M a. m. M County Attorney Qharles L. Farr explained to the court that he did not II know what would be done in the caso H as the evidence has already been, M destroyed under order of the district H court. This is the second charge against H the defendant Last fall the sheriffs I office made a raid on the place one night and took from a basement a verv M largo quantity of the liquor that had M been stored there following the clos-' ing of saloons on August first, last. Laucirica won a verdict in the caso against him on that count, but tho officials made another charge shortly aferward being a merger of the first case. A quantity ot the liquor, includ- H ing tho liquor involved in tho present H case, was ordered destroyed bv tho district court. ' H |
