In cases In which two telephone sjt' i terns are operating In the same area the order directs the companies to cooperate co-operate In making extensions and betterments, bet-terments, that unification and elimination elim-ination of waste, money, man-poff and materials may bo brought about, "Jn an orderly way and with due regard re-gard to the rights of tho owners oj the properties and the convenience ol the public." Mr. Burleson announced tho appointment appoint-ment of Nathan C. Kingsbury, vice-president vice-president of the American Telegraph and Telephone company, and George W. Robinson, president of the Tn-State Tn-State Telegraph and Tolephonc company, com-pany, to investigate and earn' n ne' gotlatlons for tho unification and consolidation con-solidation of the various telephone companies operating In tho same communities. |
