An ordinance amending an ordinance1 entitled "An ordinance providing for a license to be paid by public eating and drinking places and prescribing regulations regu-lations for the conduct of such public eating and drinking places and the I penalty for the violation thereof,"! adopted and passed by the Board of Commissioners of Ogden City, Utah, on the 12th day of March, A. D. 1918, by: amending Section Seven thereof and! fixing the penalty for the violation thereof. Be it ordained by the Board of Com-missloners Com-missloners of Ogden City, Utah: Section 1 That Section No. 7. of an ordinance of Ogden Citv. Utah, adopt- ed nnd passed March 12, 1918, provid-1 inK for a license to be paid by public! eating and drinking places and prescribing pre-scribing regulations for the conduct of Bueh public eating and drinking places1 and the penalty lor the violation! thereof, is hereby amended to read as follows : Section 7 Any person, firm or corporation, cor-poration, violating any of the provisions provi-sions of this ordinance shall be deem- d guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con - j victlon shall be punished by a fine in any sum less than Three Hundred Dollars, or by imprisonment in the city jail for a period not to exceed six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. im-prisonment.
