LOCAL YARDS ARE TO I BE INCREASED WITH MORE TRACKAGE Because of increased passenger and freight traffic, the Oregon Short Line terminals in the local yards may be extended to include scores of addi-itional addi-itional cars. J. H. Dodds, division superintendent, left this morning for Salt Lake City to confer with H. B. Piatt, general manager. Details of the proposed extensions ex-tensions have not been announced, but It is known that the improvements will require a considerable expenditure expendi-ture of money. Superintendent Dobbs is expected to return to Ogden tomorrow. It Is reasonably rea-sonably certain that the Salt Lake City conference will result In an order Ifrom the general manager to make the improvements. I nn |
