Show CHEEP! 1 NEED OF LOCAL SUPPORT ' Again the canteen 1 thanks those who have remembered them at all times with contributions which make their work possible. A debt of extreme gratitude is owed the Women of American Patriots for their many gifts, according to Mrs. J. E. Wright, commander in chief of the canteen work for Ogden. But there is still much needed at the canteen and will be until the last man has been discharged from service serv-ice and reaches his home. The work of the canteen is only begun, for hundreds hun-dreds of thousands of boys have yet to pass through Ogden and this is not the time to stop tho work which has boeii carried on so successfully by so many willing workers. If It is only a jar of jelly, a package of gum or clgarettos, a dozen cookies or a box of candy, it is so gladly accepted ac-cepted and It means so much down there and so little for you. A visit to the canteen will show how truly appreciated these few comforts aro by the boys who pass through each day. on |
