PROFESSORS 10 GO 01 1 RATION The faculty members of tho University Univer-sity oC Utah have decided to aid in food conservation in a systematic -way by trying out till at least June 1 the "honor system of voluntary rationing" prescribed by tho United States food administration. As given below, it is expressed in. terms of weekly allowance allow-ance per person: Fish Oysters and sea foods, all kinds; as much as-desired. Poultry and game As much as do-sired. do-sired. Mcat Beef, fresh, salted, tinned and hashed; mutton, lamb and- veal, pork. The allowance of pork and pork products pro-ducts should not exceed y pound. Two and one-half pounds. Butter One-half pound. ! Cooking and kitchen fats Margarine, Marga-rine, lard substitutes, corn oil, cottonseed cotton-seed oil, peanut oil, and olive oil; pound. Wheat flour For use in cooking, such as gravies and sauces (use as far as possible corn starch, cracker dust and bread crumbs; ; pound. War bread Made according to regulations reg-ulations of food administration (3 pounds of bread require 2Vi pounds of flour); 3 pounds. Sugar Including table use and in cooking, including candies and sweetmeats, sweet-meats, but not the sugar used for canning and preserving; pound. Non-wheat cereals Cornmeal, oatmeal, oat-meal, rice, hominy, barley and rye; as much as desired. Vegetables and fruits Fresh and dried; as much' as desired. Milk As much as desired.
