Show Deaths and Funerals i PIGNON The funeral or Mrs. Mary! Ann Plgnon was held yesterday at 8 p. m. In the Larkin : Sons' c hapel, j Eta John Lagan conducted the ser-j vice and preached thi funeral sermon. Interment was in Mountain View! cemetery. SIMMS The funeral service for George Simms was held yesterday at 2 p. m. in the Lindquist funeral chapel. The speakers were Martin Palobouf! and Simon Bosgeiier. The musical, numbers were as follows: 'Rock 'ofi Ages," by Miss Jennie Lindberger. and' "Face to Face." by J. Meyers. The' A M. F.. Universal Scottish Rite, at- I tended in a body. The services of the A. M. F. were conducted at tho grave in the Ogden City cemetery. Matthew Mat-thew MacB. Thompson acted in capacity ca-pacity of tho A. M. F A large number num-ber of railroad men attended the services ser-vices BURT The funeral of Mrs. Phoebe Durt was held yesterday at 2 p. m. in the Ninth ward meeting house, with Bishop W. O. Ridges officiating. The speakers were John. R. William'. Mayor T. S. Browning, John McQuar-rie McQuar-rie and Bishop Ridges The music was furnished as follows: "Oh Dry Those Tears," by Mrs. Pauline Maddock; "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," by Mrs. P lies?; "The Christian's Goodnight" by Mrs. C. Waugsgard. The invocation invoca-tion wns offered by Bishop W. r. Rawson and the dedication of the grave in Ogden City cemetery by Bishop RidRo.;. Mrs. Burt was one of the early pioneers of Ogden and her funeral was attended by many friends of the early days. ; bake R 'l he funeral of Sidney Baker will be held Friday at 2 o'clock in the Kirkendall chapel, with Rev. C. A. Garver officiating. Ogden lodge. No 5. I O. O. F. will have the service ser-vice in charge. Mr. Baker was a member mem-ber also of the W. O. W. and the K. of P Interment will be in Ogden City cemetery |
