Show J. H. NEi RERE ON VISIT. AFTER II LONG tBSENCE After an absence of ten years, during dur-ing which he has visited Ogden only at long intervals. J. H. Nevin arrived here yesterday from Reno, Nov., where he is making his home Mr. Kevin is surprised at Ogden's growth and he said it took him some time to get his bearings. Reno, he declares, is prospering, en-joying en-joying the patronage of the divorce colony and the drawing power of open saloons. But all this, he says, is about to be changed, as there is a growing sentiment against the two evils. Mr. Nevin is operating mines at National Na-tional and Tonopah and obtaining his share of the state's prosperity. |
