Show I OU 111 FIVE THOUSAND i Thomas Thomas, a stockman of . Boxelder county, was an Ogden visitor this week and while in the city he purchased 5000 head of fine stock ewes of the R. S. Brooks & son Livestock I company. Mr. Thomas -rrrti place the stock on his range in western Box-eldei Box-eldei county. These ewes are said to be first class sheep and they were sold at a reasonably good price. Manager B. B. Brooks of the Brooks firm states that a good majority of the range sheep of the country are young ewes which means that bucks will be in great demand during the season and that they will soon bring I larger prices than at present. I It is more than likely that Ogden I will soon be the center of attraction as a buck exchange center a it is bet-I bet-I ter located for the convenience of I sheepmen than other places where I livestock are exchanged. There will be heavy bargaining for bucks in Ogden Og-den the coming winter and it will not be surprising if a number of auction sales are put on the boards. |
