Show MAY FESTIVAL ON WEDNESDAY. On Wednesday next, the State School for the Deaf and Blind, will give Its May festival, which has become be-come an annual event These festivities are out of the ordinary ordi-nary in that deaf and bHnd children perform as though they were in no , manner handicapped by their defects. There is an encouraging hopeful i message for the public In every one of . these demonstrations, as they prove that misfortune in great part can be . overcome, and infirmities be made a Stimulus In attaining of better things, i At the May festival children who ' cannot see sing and dance as though Ufs held for them a full measure of Joy, and little ones whose tongues had I been sealed, join in the merry-making jrf j with appealing voices.
