News of the Past Week (Special to The Standard ) The White-Jepperson concert in the Tabernacle on March 3. which was under un-der the auspices of the Mutual associations, as-sociations, gave satisfaction. Beautiful selections were given and warmly applauded. ap-plauded. Miss White's harp solos were very entertaining. Both ladies proved to be real artists. The Oxford company gave a grand concert in the Tabernacle last Sun-da.',, Sun-da.',, which was the third number of 1 he Lyceum course nrranged by the Ladies Self-Culture club. The musical musi-cal production was of high merit and 1 concluded with the beautiful opera. "The Mikado." The club was congratulated congrat-ulated In securing such a good attraction attrac-tion for the entertainment of the public. pub-lic. Mrs Paul Hinman was hostess to the Ladies' Self-Culture club on March 6. Vice President Mrs. W. L. Preston presided and twenty-two members were present, with the following: named ladies as guests of the hostess: Mrs. W. L. Cunningham. Mrs. James George, Mrs. Thomas Rampton. Mrs. Earl Kauffman. and the Misses Nellie Bernard. Iris Rhodes, Veva Burgon, Ruth and Anna Larson. The Housekeeper.' House-keeper.' conference held in Logan was reported by tin I C. Wheelon.
