Show 10 RESOLVED TO El HIS LIFE With tears rolling down his cheeks, Ed Waldon was arrested last evening on lower Twenty-fifth street by Sheriff T. H. DeVine. Waldon was flourishing flourish-ing a bottle containing a mixture of laudenum and whiskey and, declar-Ing declar-Ing a public good-bye to the cruel world, said he was going to kill hlm-j self. To prevent his avowed departure, depart-ure, Sheriff DeVine gave him a cell In the county jail for the remainder oi the night. When the man got up this morning and thought matters over, he decided this was a pretty good world after all, and concluded to remain indefln-Ite-y. The sheriff released him with .the advice that ho had better content himself with this world until he is sure of a better one. no |
