Show INDICTMENTS AGAINST MINE LEADERS DISMISSED Colorado Springs, Colo., Aug. 4. A motion to dismiss indictments charging charg-ing murder and other offenses against four leaders of the United Mine Workers of America was granted In the district court here today. The defendants were William Diamond, fiscal agent of the union during tho Colorado coal strike, and AV. M. Snyder Sny-der and Gus and John Weinburg, organizers. or-ganizers. The cases, which had been brought here on a change of venue, grew out of disorders incident to the coal strike in Las Animas county in 1913-14. Forty-seven indictments, Involving more than one hundred union leaders lead-ers and members, were also dismissed dismis-sed today at Trinidad. |
