Show Society The regular meeting of Miriam Chapter, No. 14, O. E. S.. will bo held Tuesday evening at 8:00 o'clock in the Masonic temple. All member are expected ex-pected to be present. PR E-H ALLOW E'EN PARTY. Elaborate preparations are being made, by the committee in charge, for the pre-hallowe'en party tb bo given by Queen Esthor, Chapter No. 4, 0. E. S In Masonic Temple, Friday evening, eve-ning, October the 27th. Amusements for the young people of tho order Is a musical program by some of tho best talent of the city, and a dainty repast, arc among tho planned enjoyments of the evening. The presence of all members of the order is desired, and an especial welcome awaits every visiting member. RETURN HOME. Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Dodge, have returned from a most enjoyable fishing fish-ing trip through Idaho. They report the weather fine, though cold, and the fishing very good. Mr. Dodge succeeded suc-ceeded in landing a six-pound salmon trout. IN SALT LAKE CITY. Mrs. Nathan Kuhn and daughters, Violet and Myrtle, departed for Salt Lake today, where they will visit for two weeks, after which Miss Violet will leavo for Los Angeles and Mrs. Kuhn and Miss Myrtle will return to Ogden. ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Maddock, announce an-nounce tho engagement of their daughter Julia to Eldred Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs.. William Taylor. The wedding will occur early in Novem-I Novem-I ber In the Salt Lake temple. SCOTCH WILL CELEBRATE. Tho Ogden Scottish society will give a Hallowe'en concert and dance in the Eagles' hall on Hudson avenue, October 30, 1916. Refreshments will be served. - rr |
