The body of Donald Don-ald Montgomery, aged 42 years, who died October 20, was interred in Ogden Og-den City cemetery today following funeral services at 3 o'clock in the Kirkendall chapel. A brother of the deceased arrived in Ogden yesterday from Sweetland, Wyoming. WORK. Funoral services for Amos Am-os Work were held 'at 2 p. m. today In the Kirkendall chapel, Reverend J. E. Carver officiating. Music was furnished by the Eagles' quartette and the Eagles performed their ritualistic ritual-istic services at the grave in Ogden City cemetory. HANKS Thelma May, 3-year-old daughter of Austin E. and Lennie Cooper Hanks, died at -7. a. m. today at the family residence in Clearfield after a two days' illness of pneumonia. Besides the parents the following brothers and sisters survive: Willis, Edl6on, Lloyd, Thcad and Marine. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. in the Clearfield ward meeting house, Bishop Heber Blood officiating. Interment Clearfield cemetery. cem-etery. Remains will He In state from 10 a. m. to 1 p. m. at the family resi dence tomorrow. RHINE Funeral services for J. Porcy Rhine of Sparks, Nev., were held at tho home of J. H. Rhine. Friday Fri-day afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev. Brain-erd Brain-erd officiating. Music was furnished by Knowlden quartette, Mrs. Mary Farley and Mrs. Herbert Snyder. Members of local B. of R. T. were pallbearors. There wero many beautiful beau-tiful floral tributes. Interment was at Mountain VIow cemetery. GILMORE The funeral of William J. Gilmore was held yesterday afternoon after-noon In tho Fourth ward meeting) house, with Bishop E. A. Olsen pre-1 siding. Friends and relatives of the deceased filled the chapel to its capacity ca-pacity and many floral tributes were placed upon his bier. The speakers were Samuel G. Dye, W. L. Porter and Bishop Olsen. Edward Saunders sang "Resignation" and "O My Father;" Mrs. Man' Farley sang "Sometime, Somewhere" and "I Know That My Redeemer Liveth," and Mrs. Lorene Snyder sang "A Perfect Day." Interment Inter-ment was in the City cemetery, the grave being dedicated by Hyrum Wat-kins. Wat-kins. The pallbearers were Ernest, Fred, Charles, Edward and Richard Watkins and Ray Muir. STANFORD Alfred Stanford, a former resident of Ogden and a brother broth-er of the late Joseph Stanford, died yesterday' morning In St. Anthony, Idaho. Ho was 73 years old and Is survived by th,o following children: Thomas, Newman and Jesse Stanford, of Alberta, Canada; Mrs. James A. Knight of Ogden and Mrs. Ruth Lee of St. Anthony. James A. Knight, his son-in-law, and daughters Cora and Afton, departed yesterday afternoon for SL Anthony to attend the funeral. NUTTALL Mrs. Rassamund Nut-tall, Nut-tall, widow of Bishop William T. Nut-tall, Nut-tall, died last night at the Dee hospital hospi-tal of general debility. She was 87 years old. havlnc been born June 2S. 1829, In Liverpool, England. Her parents par-ents were Mr. and Mrs. Georgo Watson. Wat-son. The deceased was converted to the doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when a young girl and emigrated to Utah in 1853, crossing the plains by ox team. Sinco thon she had lived In Provo, Heber City, Wallsburg and Ogden, the last three years of her life being passed pass-ed at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Laura Adams, 738 Twenty-sixth street. She Is survived by tho following follow-ing children; William Nuttall, Provo; John H. Nuttall, Puma, Ariz.; Richard J. Nuttall, Salem, Utah; Joseph and David Nuttall, Wallsburg, Utah; Mrs Rose E. Purcell, Provo, and Mrs. Laura Adams, Ogden. More than 100 grandchild rcu nnd great-grandenfr-dren also survive. The body was removed re-moved to tho Larkln &. Sons chapel and will be shipped to Provo for interment, inter-ment, CHRISTENSEN Mrs. Elizabeth Chrlstensen, wife of Jens Christensen, died yesterday noon at tho family residence res-idence In Harrisville, of tuberculosis. She was born in Heber City, Utah, September 27, 1867. the daughter of Ellsha and Elizabeth Lee Thomas, and came to Weber county in her early childhood. She had lived In this county ever since and was an active member of the Mormon church while In good health. Her husband and father and the following brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. Sarah Cloraent, Mrs. Rosclla Lee, Ellsha P. Thomas, Mrs. Phoebe Thomas, Mrs. MallB8a Taylor, Samuel G, Thomas, Chauncey W. Thomas and Mrs. Delia Hansen. The body was removed to the Larkln & Sons mortuary and the funoral will be held Wednesday at 1 p. m. In the Harrisville chapel. The body may be viewed at the home tomorrow to-morrow afternoon and evening and Wednesday until noon. Interment will be in the Ogden City cemetery. |
