Show COMMITTEE NAMED TO PRESENT A PETITION At a meeting of the Parents-Teachers' asocial ion of the Madison school district held yesterday afternoon, a resolution was passed recommending the appointment of Dr E. I Rich by the city board of education, to fill the vacancy left in the board by the resignation of George S. Glen' former for-mer representative of the Fourth ward About fifty persons, including teach ers, were present at the meeting and in order that the resolution might be formally presented to the board of education at its meeting tonight, a committee composed of Mrs Chris-Flygare. Chris-Flygare. Mrs. Joseph Harris and Mrs F rW Chambers was appointed to look after the matter. In addition to the resolution concerning con-cerning Dr. Rich, which came before the meeting somewhat unexpectedly, an excellent program relative to sub JectS of general interest to parents and teachers was carried out, on |
